VFS Skills Camp with Monika Wittmer

Monika will bring her vast experience and skill to promote safety and skill development in vertical formation skydiving (VFS). This is a two (2) day course beginning Saturday July 29th and ending Sunday July 30th 2023. 

Prerequisites:  

• Be able to hold a sit position for the entire duration of a jump 
• Be able to track away from a formation safely from a sit or head down position
• Minimum CSPA BCoP (or equivalent affiliation; if you do not have a CSPA affiliation, you will be required to complete a temporary 3 month CSPA affiliation at an additional cost of $35 to ensure maximum 3rd party liability coverage)
• Must have all your own equipment, including an AAD which must be turned on for each skydive

What to Expect:

• The goal will be to complete a minimum of five (5) jumps per day from 12,500 feet (cost is $52 per jump)
• Classroom work, including briefings and debriefings of each jump
• Jumps will be assessed on skill level and complexity of the dive plan with groups no larger than six (6)
• Registration cost is $150 per person with a maximum of eleven (11) participants (does not include cost of jumps)
• All payments will be made to Skydive Vancouver Island upon arrival of the course
