About The Event
Skydive Vancouver Island is proud to support the FreeFall For MS Foundation and their focus on Multiple Sclerosis on Vancouver Island. According to MS Canada, "Canada has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis (MS) in the world, with an estimated 1 in every 385 Canadians living with the disease. While it is most often diagnosed in young adults aged 20 to 49, younger children and older adults are also diagnosed with the disease."
Last season one of our beloved experienced skydivers was diagnosed with MS. Nick is a young and active individual but nothing prepared him for the changing effect MS would have on his life. Instead of giving up, Nick has fought back and now is dedicated and passionate about educating people about MS. His focus has turned to not only raising awareness about MS in our community, but also sharing his love for skydiving by spearheading…
