Formation Skydiving (FS) Skills Camp with Derek Smith

Skydive Vancouver Island Formation Skydive (FS) Skills Camp with Derek Smith  This two day camp is aimed at novice skydivers that have their CSPA B or USPA A.  Learn linked and unlinked exits, diving to the base of a formation, turning basic points. The goal is to learn how to successfully fly with up to 5 other skydivers that will serve as a foundation to build the skills needed to fly with larger groups. This will be an intimate group to learn with, so space is limited to only four (4) participants! Registering early is recommended!

Cost: 

• $250 plus jump tickets at $53 to 12,500 (taxes included in pricing) with the goal to complete five (5) jumps each day.
• Hiring a packer is strongly recommended at $10 per pack job.
• Gear rental, if required, is $80 per day and must be booked in advance with Skydive Vancouver Island
• Camping on-site is available with full service washroom & shower facilities.

Requirements: 

• CSPA B-CoP (or equivalent) 
• Either your own canopy or access to rental gear for entire day. 
• AAD are mandatory to be used and turned on for each jump.
• Belly jumpsuit with grippers (booties optional). 
• Audible altimeter is recommended but not required.
