2023 Summer Tour: Angles for Beginners

Facilitated by CSPA Angle & VFS Coach 3, Dustin Chantler, this angle course for beginners is aimed to help not only learning to fly this discipline but also a very big emphasis on the theory of angle flying so that you can continue to work on it at your local DZ.

A little bit about Dustin ~ He has been skydiving since 2010 and have +1700 skydives. A tunnel instructor since 2019 and a CSPA Coach 3 for angle/free-fly with years of angle flying experience under his belt. Dustin has taken the Leading Workshop to learn how to safely lead angles in a group setting as well as learned from the best in the most recent Fly4life Flight Camp.

Course Objectives:

• Flight planning
• Angle flyer theory
• Safe exits, approaches and break offs
• Proper body position, belly and back
• Proper levels
• Getting back to your group when left behind
• Speed changes, pitch changes, direction changes

Participant Requirements:

• 150+ jumps (B Licence Minimum)
• Prior experience tracking (25+)
• Able to safely approach formation
• skydiving gear must have indate reserve pack and AAD
• Active CSPA affiliation (for outside CSPA affiliations, a mandatory 3 month affiliation application form will be provided upon arrival)

Course Costs:

• $260 for five (5) Jump tickets to 12,500 *will be collected by Skydive Vancouver Island at the end of the course based on completed jump totals
• GST has been included in the costs
